Drug Rehabilitation at Seattle Recovery Center
Anne Artman, the founder of the Tacoma Recovery Center, knew something had to be done as opioid addiction in and around Pierce County started to intensify. Anne acknowledged that there was a shortage of affordable services for drug abuse, so she began taking lessons for peer recovery trainers right away. Since Anne discovered her passion for helping people, the Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery was able to provide a federally-funded recovery grant. Our Seattle recovery center focuses on building a strong foundation of compassion, mutual experiences, faith, and community support. Our Recovery Circles
Here at the Seattle recovery center, we have thirty different peer-led recovery circles that are held each week. The recovery center is led by a highly experienced peer leader or a peer support recovery mentor. Our peer leadership recovery circles have been proven to be the most successful approach to coping with opioid rehabilitation. Here at our Seattle recovery center, we pride ourselves in being a judgment-free zone where everyone supports each other throughout the recovery journey. Listen to all of our success stories stemming from our peer recovery circles at our Seattle recovery center.
Drug recovery is a very traumatic process that can trigger irritable and resentful feelings. In order to cope with those emotions, the participants of our anger management community share their feelings and are eventually able to better understand the triggers of their elevated feelings. Doing this helps members develop better ways of coping with lasting effects. Learn more about dealing with your extreme emotions here at our Seattle recovery center on our webpage.
Meditative Relaxation & Acupuncture
Drug rehabilitation in individuals can create stress, anxiety, and depression. Here at the Seattle recovery center, we include meditation and acupuncture, which are ancient methods that have helped alleviate stress, discomfort, anxiety, and depression. While you are at the Seattle recovery center, our experienced facilitator will guide you through a guided circle group and provide you with the tools necessary for private practice. Get started here.
