Sisterhood of Strength (S.O.S.)

The Tacoma Recovery Center and the Multicultural Child and Family Hope Center (MCFHC) proudly offer S.O.S. (Sisterhood of Strength), a program designed for young girls and women who have witnessed or experienced a crime. This group provides mentorship, support, and positive peer activities that foster connection, confidence, and community.

Our mission is to create a safe and empowering environment where young women can find their voice, embrace self-love, and build resilience. Through guided discussions, mentorship, and skill-building activities, participants are encouraged to grow, heal, and develop the tools necessary to overcome challenges faced at a young age.

The program emphasizes positive decision-making, healthier relationships, educational success, and pathways toward self-sufficiency. By honoring their diverse identities and lived experiences, S.O.S. inspires strength, growth, and leadership in every participant.
